There are many shops, bars (wine bars) and restaurants within walking distance (500 m). It is a lively and warm Spanish city with all amenities . At Plaza Iglesia you can have a nice drink or eat tapas. There are also many restaurants and bars in Pilar, and just a stone's throw from the apartment is the super tasty restaurant Casa Araez.
The sea is 3 km from Casa Nita and can be easily reached by bike, also via the beautiful Rambla promenade. There are also several cycle paths that lead from the city and along the coast.
The coast is rich in beautiful beaches with fine sand and clear water and there is no shortage of water sports facilities.
If you like shopping, you are at the right place at the boulevard La Zenia. The largest shopping centre in the province of Alicante is 20 minutes away.
Sports enthusiasts can take beautiful walks nearby, for example along the coast of Cabo Roig with beautiful sea views, or take a unique walk along the dry bed of the Riu Seco river and admire the unique rock formations. The interior also offers countless places to discover.

For golf enthusiasts there are several golf courses nearby.

Cycling along the canal is also great fun, through orange and lemon groves to San Miguel de Salinas, or a cycle around the beautiful Torremendo Reservoir.

You fly from Eindhoven, Maastricht, Brussels or Charleroi to Alicante. There are many car rental companies at the airport. You drive to Casa Nita in 45 minutes. A bus stop in Pilar de la Horadada takes you to all surrounding villages as well as to Torrevieja. From here you can also take a bus to Alicante airport.
