No License, Still Renting.

With the new regulations there are now 3 options:

• Tourist rental
• Seasonal rental
• Long term rental

What is meant by tourist rental? Homes or apartments that are offered in their entirety, regardless of type, ready to move in, for a fee, for a period equal to or shorter than 10 days. This means that it is a holiday rental as soon as you rent out a fully furnished home or apartment for a period equal to or shorter than 10 days. Rental periods of 11 days or more are explicitly excluded from the holiday rental legislation.

Rental from 11 days These guidelines are specifically about the new law that has been introduced for the autonomous region of Comunidad Valenciana. Here they speak about tourist rental for everything that is 10 days or less. This of course also offers opportunities for seasonal rental, which is now from 11 days to 11 months . No specific license is required for this. The same applies of course to long-term rental from 11 months.
