Spain, Portugal and the south of France were hit by a major power outage on Monday afternoon.
The power outage has paralyzed infrastructure, communications, train stations and airports in Spain, Spanish news media report. Trains are at a standstill, traffic lights are not working and airports are running on emergency generators. Authorities are calling on citizens to avoid roads as much as possible and to be "very careful" in traffic.
Unfortunately, we are also affected by this and have had to close our office. There is no telephone traffic possible and the laptops have no power anymore.
