How we work

CasaLasDunas mediates in the rental and leasing of private holiday homes on the Costa Blanca. Renting with CasaLasDunas means security, comfort, and personalized service. We are happy to welcome you to our office in La Marina on the Costa Blanca, 25 kilometers south of Alicante Airport. We will accompany you to your reserved property and show you around. We will also be your point of contact during your stay during office hours. In case of emergencies, we will provide you with the relevant telephone number upon arrival.

How do we work?

Selecting your property is easy on our website. Below each property, you'll find a calendar showing availability. We rent daily, not just from Saturday to Saturday, for example. Send us your questions or reservation by email. After receiving your booking confirmation, we'll send you all the further information by email. Some of our properties are also listed on Booking.com and Airbnb, but booking directly is always cheaper.

Payment

When you book, you pay a 25% deposit on the total rental amount. The remaining balance is due six weeks before the start of your well-deserved holiday. After receiving your payment, we will send you a welcome letter and directions with phone numbers. If you ultimately decide to cancel your reservation, in many cases* you can cancel your booking free of charge within 3 days.

Check-in

When you arrive at Alicante, Murcia, or Malaga airport, or by car, please call us so we know approximately what time to expect you. We will personally escort you to your property and provide instructions on how to use various features, such as the television, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. To refund your deposit, we always receive your IBAN number in advance (this is not always automatically included on bank statements). Due to legally required registration, we request that you email your ID or passport number, along with your IBAN and account name, to holiday@casalasdunas.com before departure.

Check out

As soon as you leave the property, we will inspect it with you. We ask that you leave the property tidy (no dishes or trash) and that everything is neatly tidied up for visual inspection. You can place your last load of laundry in front of the washing machine. If everything is in order, the deposit will be refunded within 10 to 14 days.

Please note: For check-in and check-out between 20:00 and 22:00 we charge a surcharge of €50. For check-in and check-out between 22:00 and 00:00 we charge a surcharge of €75. Check-in and check-out between 24:00 and 08:00 only after consultation.

All accommodations are fully furnished, and most, except for a few, have Dutch or Flemish television and Wi-Fi.
Using our search engine on CasaLasDunas, you can make a selection based on availability and preference. You can easily see which amenities a property offers, and with the Google Maps map, you can see exactly where the holiday home is located.

Our services include:

  • Booking your holiday home and receiving the invoice (rental contract) and General Terms and Conditions.
  • Personal welcome and guidance.
  • If desired, we can also arrange your transfer to and from the airport or arrange a rental car.
  • We regularly receive requests to have a welcome package or a bottle of wine with a card ready for your arrival, for an agreed-upon amount. Feel free to let us know your wishes or surprise your friends or family.

Overwintering:
There is a surcharge of €35 on cleaning costs for stays of 2 months or longer.

Pets:

Pets are generally prohibited, with only certain properties allowing them. We do, however, expect – within reason – that your pet does not cause any nuisance to the neighbors. We also expect you to clean up after yourself, including feces, vomit, shedding dog hair, and the like. We charge €100 per dog per stay for additional cleaning. Dogs are, of course, not allowed in the shower, on the sofa, on the beds, or on other furniture. If any dog hair is found, it will be thrown away, and the replacement will be deducted from the deposit, as will any other damage or soiling. We like to keep the properties clean and tidy for all our guests! It is not recommended to leave a dog unattended in the property.
