The Government of Andalusia this week announced a reduction in the transfer tax (ITP) - a tax used for existing homes - to a flat rate of 7% instead of 8 to 10%.
In addition to this reduction, the Stamp Duty tax (AJD) - used for new homes - has also been reduced from 1.5% to 1.2%. This tax reduction is now in force, following the official announcement of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) This tax reduction is effective from the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) or from 28 April 2021 to 31 December 2021.
