The Costa Blanca is easily and quickly accessible by car and plane. It is about 1800/2000 km from the Netherlands or Belgium by car and can easily be covered in two days. Finally, your vacation begins as soon as you walk through the door of your home.
Travel to the Costa Blanca
Each stay, whether it begins by plane or by car, has its advantages. If you are traveling by car, there is more to discover and see along the way. Above all, driving through the beautiful French landscape and making pleasant stops ensures that your vacation has already begun. Your trip can be done in 2 days, the first day to the French/Spanish border in Perpignan is 1300 km away. The next day, another 700 km to Alicante and you will arrive in the afternoon. An added bonus is that you have your own car on site and no longer need to rent one. The plane, on the other hand, has the advantage of being quickly at its destination, it is a flight of 2h30 at most. If you are traveling with 2, it is generally cheaper than by car.

You can reach your holiday destination quickly and comfortably by plane. It's an easy way to travel and you're fully equipped. You can fly, for example, from Amsterdam Schiphol to Alicante Airport in just 2.5 hours. There are several departure points and airlines with which you can easily get to Alicante or Murcia. You fly from the Netherlands from Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Eindhoven-Maastricht and from Belgium from Brussels-Ostend-Liège with different airlines, so there are plenty of cheap flights to book, PLEASE NOTE! Booking based on one-way and one-way can often be cheaper, and arrival and departure times can also be easily accommodated.
At Alicante airport you can rent a car that you have already reserved via INTERNET.
PLEASE NOTE that when you arrive you only have to pay by credit card, they do not accept cash. If you rent through our rental organization, you can pay by credit card as well as cash and the car will be ready in the arrivals hall, so no more queuing like with INTERNET rental companies.
Airport service
We can pick you up at Alicante or Murcia airport. It is best to book the airport service in time. For this we need your flight details and the mobile number where we can reach you in Spain. We will then drive you directly to your holiday address, where we will hand you the keys.
Costs: One way from € 50, - max 4 people.
For arrivals / departures between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., supplement of € 20.- per additional night.
How it works ? : As soon as you have landed and before removing the suitcases from the conveyor belt, please contact the person in charge by telephone. You have received a description in advance by e-mail, who will pick you up, and where exactly this person will be waiting for you with the car. Make sure your mobile number is already activated in the Netherlands or Belgium.
Rent a car on the Costa Blanca

- VAT; insurance (with an excess of €300 for class BB-CC-E and €500 for class FGH); 100 KM per day free.
- Repair service within a radius of 150 km around Alicante.
- You must be over 23 and have held a driver's license for 2 years.

With your own car in Spain
If you are traveling by car, it is important to be well prepared. Take your time, your vacation starts as soon as you get in the car so be sure to enjoy everything you see along the way.
Travel wisely: Think about your travel documents, like green card, ANWB travel and credit letter (for the Netherlands) and leave your holiday address behind for those staying home.
Hotels: You can book your Formula 1 Hotel from the Netherlands or Belgium and of course there are several good hotels along the highway where it is pleasant to spend the night.
How to get there: If you are traveling to the Costa Blanca with more than 2 people, this is the most economical. You will also have the comfort of your own car on site.
Call: As soon as you arrive in the vicinity of Alicante, we ask you to call the telephone number of the manager of your holiday home, so that he can receive you on site.
Route planner: With a route planner it is very easy to choose the right route. Print the route and also that of the return of course! Google Maps is by far the best navigation in Spain.
Parking at the departure airport
If you are traveling by plane, you must of course also reach the departure airport. If you want to do it by car, it is advisable to reserve a parking space in advance. Not only are you guaranteed a parking space, online rates can also be cheaper.
Via the Flying and Parking online platform, you can compare parking offers at airports and reserve the desired parking space. For example, are you looking for parking at Schiphol Airport ? Then select Schiphol and your travel dates. You can then start the comparison and book a parking space. In high season in particular, prices can be higher and parking spaces can even be full. So try to think about arranging a parking space as soon as possible.
